This Bloody Country

A teaser for an upcoming film. This Bloody Country is a story about a Mormon family that hires an outlaw to escort them across the country.

The teaser was used as a tool to secure funding for post-production, which was a success! The film is currently in post with a scheduled release date some time in late 2023.

Sports Reel

For the past few years, I’ve worked in some capacity for the Seattle Mariners and Seattle Seahawks. Outside of that work, I’ve also done a mini-series on lacrosse for ESPN, some videos for USA swimming, and various other sports-centric video content. This reel represents just a sampling of that content. The work in here represents some things I shot, edited, designed, animated, wrote, produced, directed, and everything else under the sun.

Black Arts Legacies

As part of the Black Arts Legacies effort to highlight the long-standing, vital and ongoing role of Black artists and arts organizations in Seattle, KCTS9 created five documentary videos. Each short film focuses on two Northwest artists working in the same genre across different time periods. Seattle filmmaker Tifa Tomb was the video producer and director, assisted by Gabriella Segovia-Breaux as video series editor.

FIFA 2026 Pitch

Seattle was selected to host games for the 2026 World Cup. Not saying it was all because of this video, but… definitely didn’t hurt. This was put together a few short days before the pitch to FIFA brass. It was meant to encapsulate the Sounders vibe, the love of the game from Seattleites, and Seattle as a destination.

Breakthrough Energy - COP 26

Brief: Inspire the richest companies and governments on earth to shift their priorities. You have 7 days. The fate of the world depends on you!

This video supposedly played at COP 26 before President Biden took the stage. Sounds pretty big time. I have no idea if any of that is true, but this video does have some pretty heavy hitters in it.

The Killing of Stonechild Chiefstick: The Investigation

On the evening of July 3rd, 2019, a 39-year old Native man named Stonechild Chiefstick was attending a Fourth of July festival at a waterfront park in Poulsbo, WA. After receiving reports that Chiefstick had threatened someone with a screwdriver, Poulsbo Police Officer Craig Keller—along with 3 other officers—moved to engage. Officer Keller fired two shots, striking Chiefstick in the face and chest. He would be pronounced dead 40 minutes later. The entire encounter lasted approximately 10 seconds. The homicide investigation that followed was replete with preferential treatment of police officers and reversed the roles of suspect and victim. This is the story of that investigation.

Celebrating the NFL’s 100th year, the Seahawks put together a series of videos highlighting great moments and aspects of the teams throughout the years. This video focuses on the Seahawks’ (spoiler alert) drubbing of the Broncos in Super Bowl 48.

This video was edited in a little over three working days with footage pulled from interviews and film database.
